You have created a mini-masterpiece here. You have the clean, confident shading of a pro. The entire pic is a landscape of textures. Much contributes to the mechanical theme. First there are all the lines, cold and precise. Then there is the symmetry both of the picture as a whole and the massive bird specifically. Then comes all the repetition. The gears, the signs, the rollers on the conveyor belt. Most sadly there are the pale silhouettes of people walking slumped across the background looking like products of assembly line tedium.

"Pan Szukalski" is, all in all, a piece soaked in grim atmosphere.
